About UBA

The institute has participated and established its Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) unit in 2018. UBA is the flagship program of the Government of India and is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India. The UBA unit of IIP work under the guidance of regional coordinating institute IIT, Bombay. The institute has adopted three villages under this program Phanasawale, Ozhare, Vighrawali, Poor and Patgao of Ratnagiri district. The UBA unit of the institute in association with local government authorities regularly conduct various development and awareness programs with the help of UBA volunteers for the benefit of the students.
