About Pharmaceutics

         Pharmaceutics is one of the core branch of the Pharmaceutical Science and mainly concerned with the design as well as development of suitable dosage form of a drug and strategies to deliver the drug to the desired site of action in the body. The state of the art design of stable, safe and effective drug formulations including conventional and novel drug delivery systems. The Pharmaceutics department of the Institute provides practical and research training to the students in the areas of drug formulation, drug delivery system and preparation of various types of dosage forms including its evaluation. Departmental laboratories and machine rooms are well equipped and facilitate to fulfill the needs of students in the learning process. Moreover, experienced course teachers are capable enough to deliver curriculum designed by the University in effective manner and to meet outcome-based education needs too.
