Pharmaceutics is one of the core branches of Pharmaceutical Science, mainly concerned with the design and development of suitable dosage forms of drugs and strategies to deliver them to the desired site of action in the body.
The Pharmaceutics department of the Institute provides practical and research training to students in the areas of drug formulation, drug delivery systems, and preparation of various types of dosage forms including their evaluation. Departmental laboratories and machine rooms are well equipped to facilitate student needs in the learning process. Moreover, experienced course teachers deliver the curriculum effectively to meet outcome-based education needs.
